Gara da incorniciare per Enrico Brazzoli e Luca Beltrame, che hanno portato la Peugeot 208 R2 curata dai tecnici del Team Vieffecorse sul secondo gradino del podio WRC3 guadagnando punti importantissimi in ottica Campionato. A due sole gare dal termine, l'equipaggio piemontese si avvicina alla testa della classifica ed attende di conoscere quali saranno gli avversari al via del Rally RACC Catalunya che si disputerà a fine ottobre.
"Ho ripetuto il risultato dello scorso anno, migliorando di molto le mie prestazioni sulle Prove Speciali identiche a quelle del 2017 e facendo segnare tempi di vertice in molte occasioni.
Voglio ringraziare Vieffecorse per avermi messo a disposizione una vettura davvero perfetta e lo staff Pirelli per i preziosi consigli sullo stato delle PS e sulle mescole da utilizzare: sono stati tre giorni durissimi... ma ne è davvero valsa la pena!" ha dichiarato un raggiante Enrico Brazzoli sulla pedana di arrivo a Llandudno "Abbiamo guadagnato qualche punto in classifica sul finlandese Taisko Lario, che è il nostro rivale più accreditato per la corsa al titolo WRC3 perché sarà sicuramente al via in Spagna, mentre non sappiamo se gli svedesi Emil Bergkvist e Denis Rådström - che attualmente ci precedono nella graduatoria WRC3 - saranno della partita: il finale di stagione si preannuncia affascinante e faremo di tutto per raggiungere l'obbiettivo che si siamo prefissati all'inizio dell'anno".
Il Rally RACC Catalunya prenderà il via giovedì 25 ottobre da Barcellona per concludersi a Salou domenica 28: la gara spagnola è l'unica del Campionato del Mondo a svolgersi su terra e asfalto e l'alternanza di fondo renderà ancora più avvincente la lotta per la vittoria.

Rally RACC Catalunya will start on 25 October from Barcelona to end in Salou on Sunday 28: the Spanish race is the only one of the World Rally Championship to take place on both gravel and tarmac and the alternation of the roads will make the fight for the victory even more fascinating.
